The Chicago Tribune reported on the history of the Hermon Baptist Church, which is now owned by Giordano Dance Chicago. “The proposed design (of Giordano Dance Chicago) by the Chicago firm bKL Architecture, will incorporate the church’s brick facade into a new glass-and-metal building, which means that in a neighborhood where history is brazenly bulldozed almost daily, a piece of (Hermon Baptist Church) and its past will remain visible.”
