Building Up Chicago recently featured an update on The Van Buren, designed by bKL. This new 12-story residential building, comprised of vision glass and white metal panels, will contain 148 rental units.
bKL designed 3300 N. Clark was recently approved by the Chicago Plan Commission at the February 15th Department of Planning and Development meeting.

Building Up Chicago recently featured a construction update on Renelle on the River, designed by bKL. Built upon an existing parking garage, this 18-story condominium will contain 50 residential units.
bKL was a proud sponsor of GEMS World Academy’s “Night to Shine” Gala on Saturday, February 10! The Gala supported numerous organizations throughout the Chicagoland area, selected by students from each grade.
Curbed Chicago recently highlighted bKL’s design of GEMS World Academy Chicago Middle-Upper School. The second phase of this two-building vertical campus marries GEMS’ program with local requirements, creating a new model for a high-rise school in an arena of limited precedents.
bKL’s design for Giordano Dance Chicago was recently featured on the commercial interior design Contract Magazine website. Located across from Chicago’s prominent Lincoln Park, the new Giordano Dance Chicago building will consist of dance studios, retail space, and a rooftop terrace.
The Selby in Toronto, designed by bKL, was featured as Urban Toronto’s Photo of the Day as construction progresses.
