Intrigued by the initial allure of a building, Laura Crane is passionate about exterior wall assemblies and building façades because it is the first point of engagement the public has with architecture. Laura’s experience with mixed-use residential towers, office towers and highrise educational institutions demonstrates her strength in complex interface surfaces.
Laura earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design at Florida State University and a Master of Architecture degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. While at SAIC, she completed study abroad programs in Japan and Peru. Laura is NAAB Accredited.
Outside of the office, Laura serves as Director on the AIA Chicago Board of Directors. She also serves as co-Chair of the AIA Chicago Young Architects Forum, where she assists in organizing events geared toward networking and professional development for young architects.
