Paul HagleAIA, LEED AP


Director and Interiors Practice Leader, Paul Hagle is renowned for his wealth of expertise leading all aspects of the Interior Design process. A true project leader, he creates a delivery platform that maximizes the talents of the team and success of the project.

His work ranges from interiors for small buildouts to large relocations and full interior design services for educational, commercial, and residential buildings. Paul’s thorough and collaborative approach often leads to repeat and ongoing work. Clients value his commitment to focus on the broad project goals while developing details to successfully implement strong design elements. Engagement with clients, end users, and the design team make the experience enjoyable and rewarding, even while Paul challenges assumptions.

Always finding time to mentor and teach studio members, Paul shares his knowledge to nurture personal growth and help individuals build on their strengths to create successful designers and design solutions.  He regularly critiques the work of architecture students at Columbia College and Illinois Institute of Technology. He enjoys seeing the creative ideas of talented students and bringing his practical real-world experience to their design perspectives.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree at Kent State University and a Masters of Business Administration degree at DePaul University. He is a licensed architect in the states of Illinois, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Washington and Wisconsin. He volunteers and remains involved in several industry and civic organizations including the American Institute of Architects, Chicago Architecture Foundation, Friends of the Park, International Facilities Management Association, The Art Institute of Chicago, and Center on Halsted.
