Alex is a valuable and well-rounded team member with experience in all project phases. His portfolio spans various project typologies including multi-family residential, mixed-use, and civic. Alex’s work is characterized by thoughtful design that facilitates a sense of place and community. He is passionate about architecture enhancing user experience through diverse opportunities for social interaction.

Alex earned Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master’s in Architecture degrees from The University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. His graduate school studio group took first place at UIUC’s Graduate Design Awards in the Spring of 2017. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a licensed architect in the state of Illinois. Additionally, he serves as a Lead Mentor for AIA Chicago’s “Architects in Schools” program. In this role, Alex coordinates and teaches an eight-week architecture course to a Chicago Public Schools middle-school class.
