Ann brings a wide range of skills to bKL, with advanced expertise in educational architecture. Her robust educational portfolio includes regional and international work with diverse student populations and unique design objectives. Most recently, Ann worked on the development of a mixed-use facility for the University of Chicago, transforming the University’s Recreation Center and South Parking Garage.
With a multidisciplinary background and experience across all scales of design, Ann is passionate about bringing clients’ inherent goals and values to life, creating an environment that not only looks cutting-edge but is well-loved by the people that use it.
Ann holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design and a master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a licensed architect in Illinois while also holding a LEED Green Associate credential, making Ann well-versed in the most current green building principles and practices.
