Maja Adamski has worked on a diverse group of project types and sizes from coast to coast. She has a holistic approach to architecture which makes her very comfortable working on concept design, interiors, landscape design and the more technical aspects of the field. Maja is equally concerned with the functionality and design of a building as with the occupants’ experience, which is demonstrated through her expertise on high-rise residential unit layout. She is especially interested in transitional spaces from the interior to the exterior, how outdoor spaces and public spaces effect human behavior, and how the overall built environment interacts with the public.
Maja earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Architecture degree at Washington University in St. Louis. During her studies, Maja studied abroad in Krakow, Poland and Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is fluent in English, French, and Polish.
