Associate Director

Shane brings over 20 years of experience to his role at bKL, with an especially strong portfolio in project management and the hospitality realm. His most recent projects include his work as project architect and project manager of the Willis Tower Repositioning, the Marriott Marquis Chicago on the McCormick Place Campus, St. Regis Tower, and the 131 South Dearborn Lobby Renovation.

Shane is especially interested and experienced in establishing architectural arrangements that foster connection between the building and its neighborhood context. As a project manager, Shane has a large portfolio of experience guiding projects from schematic design to construction administration.

Shane earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. He is licensed in the state of Illinois and is an active member of AIA.
