Greatbanc Trust

GreatBanc Trust, a full-service trust company specializing in ESOPs, extended their 16,000 square foot lease in the Chicago suburbs during the height of the pandemic. bKL Interiors was selected to transform the space with a fresh and modern design, elevating the environment and inspiring employees to return to the office.

The existing space reflected a confined office concept with tall workstation panels, dark and traditional office furniture, and walls that completely enclosed the private offices and public meeting spaces. To open the space, the workstation heights were lowered, and glass sidelights were installed at the perimeter offices. Additionally, Falkbuilt, a glass wall system, was used along the perimeter of both the breakroom and the boardroom to allow natural light to flood into the space and promote inclusion. The design is bright and welcoming with features such as herringbone LVT floors, warm blonde wood-tones, soft lighting, alluring wallcoverings, and stylish fabrics.
